3. शेर जंगल में क्यों रहता है?
4. सूर्य पश्चिम में छिपता है।

• Affirmative Sentence
• Negative Sentence
• Interrogative Sentence
• Interrogative Negative Sentence

Affirmative Sentence (साधारण वाक्य )

Rule for Affirmative Sentence –

Subject +Verb का  Ist Form+object
(i) यदि कर्ता एकवचन है तो क्रिया की Ist form में s या es और लगायें। (निचे वाक्य -1) ☟
(ii) कर्ता I, You तथा बहुवचन कर्ता के साथ केवल क्रिया की Ist form आती है। (निचे देखे वाक्य -2,3,4) ☟

Negative Sentence (नकरात्मक वाक्य)

Rule for Negative Sentence –

Subject + do not/does not + Verb का  Ist Form
(i) एकवचन कर्ता के साथ does तथा बहुवचन के साथ do लगाते हैं।

Interrogative Sentence (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य )

Rule for Interrogative  Sentence –

(i) वाक्य के शुरू में “क्या” शब्द आने पर,
Do/Does + Subject + Verb का  Ist Form
(ii) बीच में कोई प्रश्नवाचक शब्द आने पर उसकी अंग्रेजी do/does से पहले लिखें। (देखे वाक्य -3,4 ) ☟

Interrogative Negative Sentence ( प्रश्नवाचक-नकारात्मक वाक्य )

Rule for Interrogative Negative Sentence –

(a) Does + subject (he, she, it and other singular) + not + Ist
form of verb + object/complement?
Or Question word + does + subject (he, she, it and other
singular) + not + Ist form of verb + object/complement?

(b) Do+ subject (I, we, you, they and other plural) + not + Ist
form of verb + object/complement?
Or Question word + do + subject (I, we, you, they and other
plural) + not + Ist form of verb + object/ complement?

Example – (i) क्या वह क्रिकेट नहीं खेलता है?
Does he not play cricket?
(ii) क्या सोनाली एक पुस्तक नहीं पढ़ती है?
Does Sonali not read a book?
(iii) वे फुटबॉल क्यों नहीं खेलते हैं?
Why do they not play football?
(iv) क्या बच्चे स्कूल नहीं जाते हैं?
Do the children not go to the school?

Examples For Affirmative Negative & Interrogative Senteces

(A) Affirmative Sentences (साधारण वाक्य)
1. पायल गीत गाती है।
Payal sings a song.
2. मैं पत्र लिखता हूँ।
I write a letter.
3. कुत्ते रात को भौंकते हैं।
Dogs bark at night.
4. तुम क्रिकेट खेलते हो।
Youplay cricket.

(B) Negative Sentences (नकारात्मक वाक्य)
1. आकाश स्नान नहीं करता है।
Akash does not bathe.
2. वे यहाँ नहीं आते हैं।
They do not come here.
3. हिरन वृक्ष पर नहीं रहता है।
The deer does not live on tree.
4. हम मैदान में नहीं खेलते हैं।
We do not play in the field.

(C) Interrogative Sentences (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)
1. क्या वीना पत्र लिखती है?
2. क्या वे वहाँ खेलते हैं?
3. पक्षी कैसे उड़ते हैं?
4. चपरासी घंटी क्यों नहीं बजाता है?

Simple Present Tense का प्रयोग-

1. इस Tense का प्रयोग मुख्यतः आदत या स्वभावजनित कार्य-व्यापार (habitual actions) का बोध कराने में होता है। जैसे -I walk in the morning. (मैं सुबह में टहलता हूँ।) – आदत / स्वभाव
The sun rises in the east. (सूर्य पूरब में उगता है।) आदत / स्वभाव
Milk is sweet. (दूध मीठा होता है।). – स्वभाव
2.इस Tense का प्रयोग स्थायी या सामान्य कार्य-व्यापार, संबंध, अधिकार,
निहित गुण इत्यादि का बोध कराने के लिए भी होता है।
जैसे – Two and two is four. (दो और दो चार होता है।) स्थायी कार्य-व्यापार
She is my mother. (वह मेरी माँ है।) संबंध
I have a car. (मेरे पास एक कार है।) अधिकार
The rose is beautiful. (गुलाब सुंदर होता है।) निहित गुण
